Striving for positive impact tourism.

Since 2009, we’ve worked at the intersection of nature conservation and sustainable tourism.

Rooted in the vision that tourism can create lasting prosperity for people living on a healthy, resilient planet, we support a global community of tourism industry change-makers, from eco-lodges to tour operators, dedicated to accelerating positive impact through a framework combining conservation, community, culture, and commerce.

Accelerating positive impact. Accelerating positive impact. Accelerating positive impact. Accelerating positive impact.

The Long Run welcomes tourism businesses, eco-lodges and properties, wildlife conservation areas, and experiences to join our worldwide community of change-makers.

About The Long Run

The Long Run was founded in 2009 when a group of visionaries from all corners of the globe gathered, seeking a better way to protect ecosystems and support communities through tourism in the long-term.

This meeting of minds resulted in The Long Run's industry-leading 4Cs framework — a holistic approach which emphasises a balance of Conservation, Community, Culture, and Commerce — and underpins our work today. Head this way for more about us.
