Singita Sabi Sand

Eco Lodges

since FEB 2025

Giving guests access to 18,200-hectares of wilderness in South Africa’s Sabi Sand Nature Reserve, Singita Ebony, Boulders and Castleton lodges welcome guests to participate in environmentally conscious hospitality, sustainable conservation and community partnerships.

An immersive experience and intimate connection with nature, promoting well-being and a sense of place through limited guest and vehicle numbers. Renowned for its high concentrations of big game, frequent leopard sightings and warm-hearted hospitality in spaces designed to bring the outdoors in. Partnering with the Singita Lowveld Trust, Singita’s local non-profit trust in South Africa, SSS contributes to various community and biodiversity programmes. Projects include the onsite canine (dog) unit engaged in anti-poaching activities and support for 17 local Early Childhood development (ECD) centres - the flagship community partnership programme.

CONSERVATION

Singita Sabi Sand’s anti-poaching Unit (APU) and canine (K9) dog units are critical to safeguarding rhino and the many other species of conservation concern.

By supporting leopard researchers at Panthera, Singita Sabi Sand has helped to reconstruct over 850 leopard life histories and to collect 90,000 research - useful data points in the Sabi Sand.

COMMUNITY

The Hustle Economy Programme, spearheaded by Wild Impact with Singita Lowveld Trust (SLT) as an anchor financial partner and other partners, responds to the challenge of youth unemployment in South Africa

SLT supports 17 Early Childhood Development Centres with classroom resources and centre manager training.
