Founded in 2020 and based in the UK, Travel Differently set out on a mission to create unforgettable travel experiences that leave a regenerative impact on both the people and destinations visited. Focussing on Latin America, every trip created is fully tailor-made and encourages guests to travel responsibly and travel differently.
Travelling with purpose is at the core of Travel Differently’s identity. Every journey is shaped by four founding principles: travelling greener, travelling slower, travelling fairer, and travelling better. The company works exclusively with local, boutique ground partners across Latin America who share a strong commitment to conservation and sustainability. All accommodation and guiding services are locally owned and operated, with experiences designed to be meaningful, immersive, and respectful. From low-impact exploration of natural environments to community-led cultural exchanges, each trip is thoughtfully crafted to positively support the destinations and communities visited.

CONSERVATION
Travel Differently collaborates exclusively with partners and lodges that actively protect, promote, and help restore natural landscapes and wildlife.
As part of its Climate Emergency Plan, the company is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its operations and trips wherever possible. This includes prioritising carbon reduction and responsibly balancing emissions that cannot yet be eliminated.
COMMUNITY
Travel Differently works in partnership with local communities by collaborating with local DMCs, guides, and locally owned accommodation. By keeping operations local, revenue remains within the region, supporting employment, small businesses, and long-term community sustainability.
Across its supply chain, the company strives for a better way to travel. By working closely with ground partners and maintaining open feedback loops, Travel Differently continuously reflects, learns, and improves to ensure its actions create positive impact.
CULTURE
Travel Differently designs and actively promotes meaningful experiences that connect guests directly with the people and cultures of South America, helping to highlight and preserve the continent’s rich cultural heritage.
Slow travel is embedded by design, with trips focused on longer stays, fewer destinations, and time for genuine interaction. There are no tick boxes or performative experiences, only meaningful encounters that give back.
COMMERCE
Travel Differently partners exclusively with local, boutique organisations that share its values and enable meaningful change across all areas of operation.
One percent of profits is donated to impactful organisations, such as the World Land Trust, linked directly to the destinations guests visit.
